Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs is a cross-border exchange programme partially funded by the European Union which gives new entrepreneurs the chance to learn from experienced organisations and small businesses in other European Union countries. The exchange of knowledge and experience takes place during a stay with the more established enterprise in which the new entrepreneur acquires and improves skills, while the hosting company benefits from fresh perspectives and gains networking opportunities and the chance to cooperate with foreign partners.

Art Motile’s aims for this programme include establishing the basis for a long-term professional relationship between Art Motile and Trans Artists, while researching ways for the two organisations to continue to work together and further consolidate their relationship.

Trans Artists, the Dutch platform for worldwide artist-in-residence opportunities, will host Art Motile's Toni Subirà at their headquarters in Amsterdam for the next five months. During this time Mr. Subirà will work on an activity plan that includes a work-in-progress between both organisations to exchange successful methodologies for communication and contents updating, sharing and development. He is also setting up a research project to evaluate the impact Trans Artists has had on Dutch artist-in-residence programmes.

At the same time, he will be taking part in the general activities of Trans Artists, such as the organisation of a meeting focused on Japan and AIR programmes in unsafe or critical contexts in May.

These activities will be presented in Barcelona this autumn as part of Art Motile’s 2012 Country Focus on The Netherlands, which will include with a workshop with Trans Artists.
