Creating in Times of Crisis: debate organised by Casa de Velázquez

Art Motile's Marta Gracia and Ana Urdániz will be leading participatants in the debate "Creating in times of crisis" at Museo ABC in Madrid on Tuesday, March 6th.

The debate has been organised by the Spanish AIR program Casa de Velázquez and will focus on the following questions: What strategies do young artists currently use for producing their work? Which organisations are supporting them and how?

The debate will also involve the participation of Selina Blasco from Universidad Complutense de Madrid, Claude Bussac from PhotoEspaña and Frank Denon from Centre Glacière - Ateliers Beaux-Arts Ville du Paris.

AIR ARRAY: Meeting of AIR Programmes and Mobility Workshop for Artists

Art Motile and Matadero Madrid present AIR ARRAY, a three-day event focused on artist in residence programmes and artist mobility. The event consists of two main activities: a two-day meeting for AIR programmes and a half-day mobility workshop for artists. The event will take place on the 9th, 10th and 11th of March 2015 at Matadero Madrid and Casa de Velázquez - Académie de France à Madrid.
