Call for residency grants: Hangar exchange programme with Ceroinspiración (Quito, Ecuador)

Hangar (Barcelona, Spain) has launched an open call for artists to participate in an exchange scheme with the residency Ceroinspiración in Quito, Ecuador.

Hangar will provide a grant for one artist from Spain to work with an artist from Ecuador on a research project on the activities of locals in the neighbourhoods of Poblenou (Barcelona) and La Floresta (Quito). The programme aims to promote dialogue and further the exchange of knowledge between Spanish and Ecuadorian art communities and social collectives.

Please note that only artists living in Spain may apply for this grant.


January 22nd 2012.

Residency Period:

Two months between March and April 2012.

AIR ARRAY: Meeting of AIR Programmes and Mobility Workshop for Artists

Art Motile and Matadero Madrid present AIR ARRAY, a three-day event focused on artist in residence programmes and artist mobility. The event consists of two main activities: a two-day meeting for AIR programmes and a half-day mobility workshop for artists. The event will take place on the 9th, 10th and 11th of March 2015 at Matadero Madrid and Casa de Velázquez - Académie de France à Madrid.
