Open call for Pinotxo AIR programme at Fabra i Coats

Pinotxo is the artist in residence programme run by Sant Andreu Contemporani and Fabra i Coats Fábrica de Creació de Barcelona, and they are offering three studios along with production grants for 2013 to visual artists living in Spain.

Pinotxo was originally a studio programme run by the Centre Cívic de Sant Andreu from 2000 to 2004, and included the Premi Miquel Casablancas prize. In 2009 the programme was re-started and moved its studios to the newly refurbished facilities at Fabra i Coats.

The programme is offering three studios in Fabra i Coats Fàbrica de Creació from January to December 2013. The programme provides a production grant of €1,200 for each of the selected artists as well as mentorship from the staff of Sant Andreu Contemporani. The projects produced by the artists in residence will be presented within the framework of Sant Andreu Contemporani's activity programme for 2013. PInotxo is aimed at visual artists living in Spain.

AIR ARRAY: Meeting of AIR Programmes and Mobility Workshop for Artists


Art Motile and Matadero Madrid present AIR ARRAY, a three-day event focused on artist in residence programmes and artist mobility. The event consists of two main activities: a two-day meeting for AIR programmes and a half-day mobility workshop for artists. The event will take place on the 9th, 10th and 11th of March 2015 at Matadero Madrid and Casa de Velázquez - Académie de France à Madrid.
