The Gas Natural Fenosa Museum of Contemporary Art has announced a call for two artists to participate in a two-month residency between the 22nd of October and the 20th of December 2012 in the facilities of the Gas Natural Fenosa Museum of Contemporary Art in A Coruña, Galicia, Spain.

The programme aims to support the development of artistic research projects and is addressed to artists and professionals from any artistic nationality and background: plastic arts, visual arts, architecture, design, music, cultural management and others.

The stated aims of the programme include fostering artistic investigation and production; contributing to promoting artistic creators; and promoting the international mobility of artists and other arts professionals.

The Gas Natural Fenosa Museum of Contemporary Art will support the selected projects with two grants of €3,500 each, which will contribute to the travel expenses, housing and living expenses of the beneficiaries. The museum will also provide the selected artists with a fully equipped working space.

AIR ARRAY: Meeting of AIR Programmes and Mobility Workshop for Artists

Art Motile and Matadero Madrid present AIR ARRAY, a three-day event focused on artist in residence programmes and artist mobility. The event consists of two main activities: a two-day meeting for AIR programmes and a half-day mobility workshop for artists. The event will take place on the 9th, 10th and 11th of March 2015 at Matadero Madrid and Casa de Velázquez - Académie de France à Madrid.
