The UNESCO-Aschberg Bursaries for Artists programme promotes mobility for young artists, enabling them to enrich their personal perspectives by engaging in culturally diverse dialogues, while developing their own creative projects.

UNESCO-Aschberg advocates and promotes creativity, highlights cultural exchanges and the need for artists to enrich their experience through contact with other cultures. The 2013 programme offers residencies to young artists from around the world between the ages of 25 and 35. This year's programme includes the participation of eighteen international residencies focused on creative writing, music and visual arts.


Between October 15th and November 30th depending on the residency programme.

AIR ARRAY: Meeting of AIR Programmes and Mobility Workshop for Artists

Art Motile and Matadero Madrid present AIR ARRAY, a three-day event focused on artist in residence programmes and artist mobility. The event consists of two main activities: a two-day meeting for AIR programmes and a half-day mobility workshop for artists. The event will take place on the 9th, 10th and 11th of March 2015 at Matadero Madrid and Casa de Velázquez - Académie de France à Madrid.
