Farrera is a small village located in the middle of the Pyrenees with a quiet atmosphere, perfect for reflection, inspiration and creative work surrounded by nature.

Two grants are being offered by CAN, the first aimed at artists from visual and performing arts, with the second intended for researchers in all areas of natural and social sciences. Both grants will select projects related to the mountain environment in Farrera.

The grants provide a working space and accomodation in an individual room at the center for one month in 2012, to be agreed with the selected applicants. During the period of residency, maintenance and transport expenses along with a stipend of up to €300 for production materials will also be provided. A presentation of the work is expected to be done at the end of the stay.

A specialised jury will be responsible for selecting the two projects.

Deadline:

June 2nd 2012.
