Call for dance residencies at Bilbaoeszena in Bilbao

Through Bilbaoeszena stage resources centre, Bilbao City Council’s Culture and Education Department has launched a call for the fourth edition of their artists in residency programme.

Companies wishing to compete for a place in the 2012 edition have until March 30th to submit their proposals. BilbaoEszena will select 5 projects which will receive financial support of up to €5,000 in addition to artistic and technical assistance. The residency period is up to 35 days.

“Artistas en Residencia” is a scheme sponsored by the Bilbao City Council Culture and Education Department, which seeks to foster research and innovation in the field of stage arts in the city by making financial resources, facilities, technical means and artistic accompaniment available to artists and researchers to enable them to undertake their creative projects.

AIR ARRAY: Meeting of AIR Programmes and Mobility Workshop for Artists

Art Motile and Matadero Madrid present AIR ARRAY, a three-day event focused on artist in residence programmes and artist mobility. The event consists of two main activities: a two-day meeting for AIR programmes and a half-day mobility workshop for artists. The event will take place on the 9th, 10th and 11th of March 2015 at Matadero Madrid and Casa de Velázquez - Académie de France à Madrid.
