The scholarship allows each artist to undertake a single residency for 13 weeks in one of the partner cities of the project in Mexico from August 20th to November 20th, 2012, with the aim of developing a work to be presented at the Fifth Latin American Art Fair, from November 9th to 16th, 2012, in the Cultural Center of Spain in Mexico. The project hopes to link the work of the creators with the communities through internal academic activities.

Up to 20 residences will be awarded in various disciplines, including visual arts, dance, design, literature, media, music, theatre and more.

This artist residency program is supported by several Ibero-American institutions, including the National Institute of Fine Arts and the National Arts Centre, both of Mexico, and the Spanish Agency for Cooperation and Development (AECID) from Spain.

Deadline:

April 9th 2012.
