Residency grants for photographers: La Fragua and University of Cordoba

La Fragua Artist Residency (Andalucia, Spain) and the University of Cordoba (UCO) have announced their call for residency grants for photographers.

The grant offers shared studio space (indoors/outdoors) at the Convent of Santa Clara for one month, a private room in Casa de Manolo Artist House, the use of a bicycle, wifi access, technical and administrative support, free picking of all seasonal vegetables and fruits growing at the convent, and an opening party.

The grant is aimed at national and international photographers with an emerging career.

La Fragua asks the artist receiving this grant to contribute two works created during their residency period to the institutions. (The donated works can be in digital format).

How To Apply:

Please send your CV along with work samples, residency proposal and your proposal for a public presentation of your work at the end of the residency.

Deadline:

February 29th 2012.

Residency Period:

April 1st to April 30th 2012 (four consecutive weeks).

AIR ARRAY: Meeting of AIR Programmes and Mobility Workshop for Artists


Art Motile and Matadero Madrid present AIR ARRAY, a three-day event focused on artist in residence programmes and artist mobility. The event consists of two main activities: a two-day meeting for AIR programmes and a half-day mobility workshop for artists. The event will take place on the 9th, 10th and 11th of March 2015 at Matadero Madrid and Casa de Velázquez - Académie de France à Madrid.
