Final days to apply for residency grant at La Fragua

La Fragua has launched an open call to host a painter at its residency for four weeks between January and March 15th 2012.

La Fragua is a non-profit cultural organization based in the historical Convent of Santa Clara in Belalcazar (Cordoba, Spain). Its main activity is an international AIR programme, which features a multi-functional space for the production, study and exhibition of contemporary art outside of urban settings. The objective of the programme is to create an open space for international reflection and cultural exchange.

The grant offers:
A single room and studio in the Convent of Santa Clara.
Production assistance (materials not included).
Use of a bicycle.

Conditions:
The artist agrees to leave an artwork in exchange for their stay.

Deadline:

End of January 2012.

Residency Period:

Four weeks between January and March 15th 2012.

AIR ARRAY: Meeting of AIR Programmes and Mobility Workshop for Artists


Art Motile and Matadero Madrid present AIR ARRAY, a three-day event focused on artist in residence programmes and artist mobility. The event consists of two main activities: a two-day meeting for AIR programmes and a half-day mobility workshop for artists. The event will take place on the 9th, 10th and 11th of March 2015 at Matadero Madrid and Casa de Velázquez - Académie de France à Madrid.
