Firmly established in Barcelona’s visual arts scene, Homesession has become one of the key independent art spaces and AIR programmes in the city and beyond, offering an apartment for resident artists, an exhibition area and co-working space, which are provided for periods from one week to three months. In addition to this, Homesession has developed a grant programme for international artists, offering a month's stay in Barcelona with accommodation costs covered plus a grant for artistic production. This grant is attributed through the same selection process as the residency.

The residency is organised around the execution of a site-specific production. The result is shown to the public during an event at the end of the artist's stay.

Since 2007 Homesession has received 15 artists in residence, bringing to Barcelona works and proposals by creators from around the world.

• June 30th 2012: International one-month residency in Septmeber 2012;

• July 20th 2012: One- to three-month residencies in the January-June 2013 season.
