Antonio Gala Foundation open call for young artists in residence

Antonio Gala Foundation has announced 18 places for young artists in residence at its headquarters in Cordoba, Spain, from October 2012 to June 2013. The residency includes lodging, maintenance, materials and space needed to develop artistic projects.

The aim of the programme is to provide promising emerging artists the opportunity to develop a project during the academic year 2012-2013.

Creators and researchers of any nationality, aged between 18 and 25 and who can speak Spanish, are eligible.

The scholarship includes accommodation at the headquarters of the Foundation in Cordoba, Spain from October 2012 until June 2013. Residents will carry out their project free from instruction by teachers or tutors, but eventually will be supported by mentors renowned in different fields of creation.

Accommodation and meals, as well as equipment, materials and space necessary for residents to develop their creative work, will be provided by the Foundation.

AIR ARRAY: Meeting of AIR Programmes and Mobility Workshop for Artists

Art Motile and Matadero Madrid present AIR ARRAY, a three-day event focused on artist in residence programmes and artist mobility. The event consists of two main activities: a two-day meeting for AIR programmes and a half-day mobility workshop for artists. The event will take place on the 9th, 10th and 11th of March 2015 at Matadero Madrid and Casa de Velázquez - Académie de France à Madrid.
