TallerBDN is offering one working space for artists to make a sculpture project during 6 months in its space near Barcelona.

TallerBDN is an initiative dedicated to the creation, production and dissemination of sculpture, promoted by a non-profit organization operating both as a physical workshop and as a professional network for three-dimensional sculptors and artists.

The TallerBDN grant includes the following:

A personal work space of 37 m2 equipped with: wardrobe closet; file cabinet; fixed shelves; sink with hot water; work desk; 2 wall tables; 2 chairs and Wi-Fi.

Common services including: a theme-specific library; dressing room; shower/bath room; kitchen/dining room.

Use of specific machinery as the proposed work requires.

Personalized, formal, conceptual and technical assessment upon request.

Eligible artists must be under 35 years old. The selected sculptor shall be provided with a work space for a period of six months from May 1st to October 31st, 2012.

AIR ARRAY: Meeting of AIR Programmes and Mobility Workshop for Artists

Art Motile and Matadero Madrid present AIR ARRAY, a three-day event focused on artist in residence programmes and artist mobility. The event consists of two main activities: a two-day meeting for AIR programmes and a half-day mobility workshop for artists. The event will take place on the 9th, 10th and 11th of March 2015 at Matadero Madrid and Casa de Velázquez - Académie de France à Madrid.
