ABOUT THE RESIDENCY:

Plataforma 0 is an area for research, production and resources at LABoral Centro de Arte y Creación Industrial. It has a modular and flexible structure, conceived for a smoother functioning, and is adaptable to different programmes and services for work groups, individual creators, collectives and educators, operating in the intersections between science, art, technology, creative industries and society.

There are 3 forms of residencies at Plataforma cero, LABoral:

Short open residency: By open call. Research residencies from one to three weeks at any time of the year. LABoral Plataforma Cero provides lodging, workspace and technical support. The artist proposal can be based on any research subject. They have to send an application in order to see that their project can work in LABoral and the residence is organised depending on availability of spaces and resources. In exchange the artist gives a presentation of his project.

Long residency with defined subject: By open call. Every year two topics are set as a framework for the proposals. The selected artist receives 3,000 euros, lodging, technical support and workspace. The residency lasts two months and is connected to the areas of exhibition, workshops and public presentations of Laboral Centro de Arte.

Special residencies in collaboration with other entities. Such as: Fundación Telefónica (Spain), SAT (Montréal) and Le Lieu Multiple (Poitiers).

FACILITIES:

In addition to studios and accommodation, artists can take advantage of:
