ABOUT THE RESIDENCY:

The Fundación Tallers Josep Llorens Artigas offers artists from all over the world the possibility to develop their work using the tools and spaces that the foundation provides. It was established in memory of the famous potter Josep Llorens Artigas by Joan Gardy Artigas, his sculptor son, to preserve the memory of his father's work and to encourage artistic expression and education in an atmosphere of open-mindedness.

FACILITIES:

The Foundation's studios are clear and spacious, and measure 150 m². Artists have access to large Japanese wood kilns (noborigama and anagama) and a gas kiln. There is also a library specialised in art from around the world, focusing especially on ceramics, complete with technical books, many written by J. Llorens Artigas himself.
