Intercambiador Acart is a cultural association based in Madrid that promotes an exchange and residency programme between Spanish and foreign artists. This bilateral residence programme focuses on the active practice of the artists. Intercambiador offers to each guest resident: a workspace in the association's atelier; a personal room in a shared house with other artists; a solo exhibition in Espacio Trapecio, Madrid; an artist talk in the Faculty of Fine Arts in Aranjuez, Universidad Complutense de Madrid; a roundtable review session with artists or other invited groups; an interview for online magazine TAP; and several meetings with local artists and agents. Intercambiador is establishing working channels with foreign cultural agents, and at the same time continuing its residence program in Madrid.

Facilities include: a room for the artists in residence (maximum three people); a common area for working; a common area for artists in the studios and the artist in residence to work; individual workshops for the permanent studio artists; a storage room for tools; a multi-purpose storage room; a storage room for painting; a photography studio; kitchen, living room, two bathrooms and an indoor patio.
